Looking to elevate your classic greek salad? Add avocados to it! Avocados add a creamy and rich texture that takes this salad to the next level.
I didn’t think there was a way to make greek salad even better until I tried adding avocados to it. It’s no secret that I love avocados in almost everything (hello avocado truffles) – I even put them in my morning smoothies. So obviously I’m going to add them to a classic greek salad… Because why not? Avocados really do make everything better. The combination of the crumbled feta cheese and avocado makes the salad so much creamier.
I love this recipe because it’s so simple. Simple recipes are my favourite because I find that they really let the ingredients shine. And I don’t have the patience for complicated recipes… Or the skill (let’s be honest, that’s the real reason). All you need to do for this recipe is chop veggies and make the dressing. Easy peasy!
Another thing that I love about this recipe is it makes me feel like it’s summer, even though it’s FREEZING outside. So I will continue to eat this salad until summer slowly makes it way here to Toronto… And just ignore the fact that it’s snowing right now.
I hope you enjoy this recipe! Be sure to follow me on instagram and tag me if you make it, I’d love to see your photos!
