This healthy and super easy tuna salad has no mayo – it get its creaminess from the avocado. Are you ready for your new favorite lunch?
I’ve just discovered my latest food obsession: avocado tuna salad. Does anyone else find a food they love and then eat it over and over again? This has definitely been my lunch almost everyday for the past week. I love it because it’s super tasty but really easy to make. As you know, I love recipes that taste amazing but take no time/fuss.
I don’t enjoy mayo (never have), but I do enjoy the creamy texture that mayo gives to food. Enter avocado! All I did was mash an avocado up with a fork and mix it in with my tuna… And voila! I had a creamy tuna salad. I then added onion, red pepper, lime juice, salt and pepper. Slather this on bread and eat it as a sandwich, or use it as a dip for crackers – either way it’s amazing!
I made a video demonstrating how to to make this delicious avocado tuna salad!
